House Demolition

Tearing down a house is a bigger undertaking than most people expect when they first start planning it. There are utilities to disconnect, materials to sort, debris to haul, and a site to clean up before the ground is actually ready to use again.

We handle the full process from start to finish. That includes coordinating utility disconnection before work begins, systematically taking the structure down, separating and hauling away the debris, and grading the site once the demolition is complete.

House demolition is common in a few situations. Sometimes a structure is too far gone to repair and replacement is the smarter move. Sometimes a property owner wants to clear an old farmhouse or outbuilding to open up land. Sometimes a new build requires removing what was there before. Whatever the reason, we approach every job the same way: safely, efficiently, and with the site left clean.

Building and Structure Demolition

We also handle demolition for commercial buildings, agricultural structures, barns, shops, and other outbuildings. Older metal buildings, wood frame structures, concrete block buildings, and mixed construction are all things we work with regularly in Southern Oklahoma.

Every structure is a little different. Before we start, we evaluate what we are working with, identify any hazards, confirm utilities are disconnected, and plan the approach that gets the job done safely without damaging surrounding property or structures.

If you have a building that needs to come down and you are not sure what is involved, give us a call. We will come out, take a look, and walk you through what the job requires.

Land Clearing in Southern Oklahoma

Southern Oklahoma properties come with a mix of challenges. Cedar trees, scrub brush, hardwoods, old fencing, and rough terrain are all common on rural land in this area. We clear it.

Whether you are preparing land for a new build, opening up pasture ground, cleaning up a neglected property, or getting acreage ready for agricultural use, we can get the dozer in there and get it cleared.

We haul off or push debris based on what the job requires and leave the site ready for the next phase.

Pond Construction and Excavation

Ponds are one of the most requested projects we handle on rural Southern Oklahoma properties. A well-built pond adds value to your land, provides water for livestock, and gives you a private spot to fish.

Building a pond right requires understanding your property's topography, soil type, and drainage patterns. We evaluate the site before we start digging to make sure we are placing the pond where it will hold water and where the dam will stay structurally sound over time.

We also handle pond cleanouts on existing ponds that have silted in or need to be deepened.

Working Around Septic and Utility Work

A lot of our excavation work connects directly to our septic services. When we install a septic system, we handle all of the excavation involved, including digging for the tank, the lateral lines, and the drain field or lagoon.

If your project involves both site work and septic installation, having one contractor handle both saves you time, coordination, and usually money. We know what is in the ground because we put it there.

Experienced Operators and Well-Maintained Equipment

Heavy equipment is only as good as the person running it. Our operators have real field experience on Southern Oklahoma properties and they know how to work efficiently without tearing up what does not need to be disturbed.

We maintain our equipment so it shows up ready to work and does not sit in your yard waiting on repairs. That matters when you are on a construction timeline or trying to get work done before the weather changes.

What Happens to the Debris

One of the most common questions we get about demolition is what happens to everything once the structure comes down. The short answer is we handle it.

Debris is sorted on site and hauled away. Concrete, metal, wood, and other materials are separated and disposed of properly. Once the debris is cleared, we grade the site so it is level and ready for whatever you are planning next, whether that is new construction, seeding, or simply cleaning up the property.

You should not have to rent a dumpster, make haul trips, or figure out disposal on your own. That is part of what you are hiring us for.

Demolition as Part of a Larger Project

Demolition rarely stands alone. Most of the time it is the first step in something bigger, a new build, a property cleanup, a land clearing project, or a site that needs to be fully prepared before construction starts.

Because we also handle excavation, dozer work, site grading, and dump truck services, we can take a project from demolition all the way through site preparation without handing it off to another contractor. That saves you time and keeps the job moving.

If your project involves tearing something down and then doing something with the land afterward, talk to us about handling it as a single project. It is usually more efficient and more cost effective than scheduling separate crews.

A Few Things to Know Before Demolition Starts

If you are planning a demolition project, here are a few things worth knowing upfront:

  • All utilities including electric, gas, and water need to be disconnected and confirmed off before demolition begins. We can help coordinate this if needed.
  • Depending on the size and location of the structure, a permit may be required by your local municipality or county. We can advise you on what is typically required in Southern Oklahoma.
  • Asbestos and hazardous materials in older structures need to be identified and handled before standard demolition can proceed. If your structure was built before the mid-1980s, it is worth having it evaluated beforehand.
  • Having a plan for what comes after demolition, whether that is new construction, grading, or land use, helps us leave the site in exactly the right condition for the next phase.

We walk through all of this with you before work begins so there are no surprises.
